The latest edition features Fr Rob Galea on the cover and contains expert insights on relationships, parenting, money, and culture.

FRANKLY also includes additional digital content – links, videos, articles, and more – on select pages via a third party app. With the FRANKLY photobooth feature readers can take a selfie with Pope Francis using their smartphone.

Bishops, evangelisation offices and other Catholic agencies and schools have commended FRANKLY for its bold, fresh, and inviting style and depth and breadth of Catholic content aimed at informing, inspiring, and evangelising.

Bishop Eugene Hurley of Darwin congratulated the publication on its success to date. “It is presented in an attractive and engaging format that I personally find to be exciting” he said.

The publication is designed to be purchased in bulk and given away as a gift at Christmas and Easter liturgies, beginning or end of school year ceremonies, Sacraments of Initiation, or other special ceremonies where many people are present who are not regularly engaged with their parish community.

Publisher Francine Pirola says, “We believe that FRANKLY is playing a part in helping people to think differently about the Catholic faith and help them to reconnect with their parish community. It is designed to attract and draw them into the life of the Church.

“Every care has been taken to ensure the publication looks and feels beautiful, and features the most inspiring and thoughtful content we could possibly create and deliver.”

Co-editor Marilyn Rodrigues said that feedback suggested readers were well engaged with the resource, which has positive messages about Catholic belief and culture.

The latest issue features interviews with musician and youth evangelist Fr Rob Galea and NRL’s Matt King, articles on topics including parenting, relationships, money, popular culture.

A photo essay focuses on Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation, Amoris Laetitia, while another explores wedding traditions.
