Consecration of Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary this Friday 25 March

The Australian Catholic bishops are united in support of Pope Francis’ consecration of Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary which will take place this Friday 25 March in Rome.

This week they released a statement encouraging all Catholics to unite in prayer for peace in Ukraine.

In the Diocese of Parramatta, Bishop Vincent will celebrate the 12.30pm Mass on Friday at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta, joining with the Holy Father in the consecration of Ukraine and Russia, and will offer prayers for peace in Ukraine.

Catholics in the Diocese of Parramatta are encouraged to join in prayerful support. The Mass will also be livestreamed on Friday on the St Patrick’s Cathedral YouTube Channel.
