Register your interest for the Diocesan WYD pilgrimage

24 August 2022

During the recent launch of the official pilgrimage to the 2023 World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal, the Diocese of Parramatta premiered its official pilgrimage promotional video.

Produced by the Diocese of Parramatta Communications team, the video begins with a message from Pope Francis calling young people the “now of the Church”, as delivered during the Final Mass of the 2019 World Youth Day in Panama City, Panama.

Among footage of Lisbon and highlights of the various locations the Diocesan pilgrimage will visit, Diocesan pilgrims from Panama share their experiences as captured on the ground by former Diocesan youth leader and WYD alumni James Madry.

The Diocese of Parramatta pilgrimage takes place over 22 days from 21 July to 11 August. Across four countries, young people will travel in the footsteps of incredible Saints who changed the course of history.

Registrations are not open until October, however, you can express your interest to join the pilgrimage at parrawyd.org. This will keep you in the loop so that when registrations open, you will get the information.
