The Sydney launch of the Catholic Worship Book II will be held on Thursday 26 May in Lindfield-Killara Parish.

Most Rev Peter A Comensoli will launch this new resource that has been officially endorsed by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference for use in the Catholic Church throughout Australia.

Presented by the National Liturgical Music Board and Morning Star Publishing, the launch will commence at 7.30pm at Holy Family Church, 2 Highfield Road (cnr Pacific Hwy), Lindfield.

The CWBII is a resource that provides music for all liturgical needs, with music for Mass, sacraments (including the Rites for RCIA), the Seasons of the Church year, weddings and funerals, the rituals of Holy Week, the Liturgy of the Hours, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and a wonderful selection of contemporary and traditional hymns and more.

The CWBII has been officially endorsed by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference for use in the Catholic Church throughout Australia.

The launch evening will be an opportunity for everyone to explore the contents of the new Catholic liturgical music resource. Selected items will be demonstrated by cantors, choirs and musicians from parishes within the greater Sydney metropolitan region, with an opportunity for all to join in singing a range of hymns and liturgical songs.

A light supper in the parish hall will follow.

Copies of the People’s Edition will be available for purchase or order on the night for the special one-off price of $30. For online purchases (online prices apply) click here

In appreciation of the Parish of Lindfield-Killara hosting the launch, an entry donation in support of the Holy Family Church bell tower project is requested.
