COVID-19 Christmas couch choir celebrates community
Bishop Vincent Long OFM Conv, Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta staff and students produced this ‘couch choir’ carol to celebrate Christmas 2020. ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ is a call to come together (in this case, virtually) to venerate the Christ child.
This performance was inspired by collaboration and community facilitated through technology as a result of COVID-19 restrictions earlier this year. As our community continues to respond to the pandemic, Executive Director Greg Whitby thanked the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta community for their steady focus on making a difference to the lives of young people and their families throughout the year.
“Never have we felt the importance of community more than we do right now,” Greg said. “From all of us at Catholic Education, I wish you and your family the peace and joy of Christmas.”
