About the Role
The Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Admin Support Coordinator is responsible for providing a level of administrative, project facilitation and records management services primarily to Head of Risk, Compliance and Assurance/Manager Governance and also to the team. Working with multiple stakeholders you will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality administrative support services and compliance with Chancery policies and procedures. The GRC Admin Support Coordinator is also required to work under pressure with strict adherence to confidentiality and provide proactive and intuitive administrative support to the Risk, Compliance & Assurance team.
- Performing administrative duties as delegated by their supervisor.
- Administration preparation of meetings.
- Diary and meeting management, email management, report writing, collation of information and servicing of committee meetings.
- Attending and coordinating relevant committee meetings and minute taking at those meetings.
- Preparation of meeting papers including agendas, minutes and meeting papers.
- Initiating and tracking progress on relevant matters.
- Providing administrative support to other staff as required.
- Maintenance and management of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Assurance records and
- Provision of administrative support to other areas, if requested by their supervisor.
To be the successful candidate you need to have:
- Qualifications in social services, customer service, business administration, clerical support or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary administrative and customer services practices.
- Skills in minute taking and diary management.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands and priorities.
- Ability to follow predefined policies and processes.
- Good communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- High level computer skills.
- High level skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Accurate and efficient data processing skills and
- A current valid driver’s licence.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience providing executive support and assistance at a senior level.
- Demonstrated experience with minute taking for boards and/or committee.
- A demonstrated ability to comply with administration policies and systems.
- A demonstrated ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- An independent work ethic, ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision.
- A demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- A demonstrated focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and
- A commitment to the ethos and values of the Catholic Church.
