Bishop Bede Heather, Bishop Emeritus of Parramatta died yesterday, 25 February 2021, aged 92.
Bishop Bede was born on December 7, 1928 and ordained a priest on July 15, 1951. He retired as Bishop of Parramatta in 1997.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Bishop Bede Heather will take place at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta on Thursday 4 March at 10am.
Refreshments will be available following the Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral Hall.
A Vigil Mass will be held at the Parish of Baulkham Hills (St Michael’s Church) on Wednesday 3 March at 7.30pm.
