In addition, you will be providing general support to leaders in a church context around Liturgy and the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.

About you

Key to this role is your genuine passion for helping people and a strong personal commitment to the Catholic mission and values. Just as important is your willingness to be part of a friendly and warm culture, where we go above and beyond to respect and support each other, and where we come together often to celebrate! You will need to be able to work independently as well as enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.

Specifically, as the successful candidate you will ideally meet the following Essential Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of and personal commitment to the Catholic Church and its teachings.
  • At least three years demonstrable experience in a comparable role in the areas of Liturgy and the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
  • Passion for life in faith, especially in the area of formation for mission.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting leaders in a church context.
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle as the role requires visiting parishes at sites across the Diocese.

  • Project management and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional manner and presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Good time management and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends as necessary, with flexibility to offset during the weekday.

If this sounds like your kind of role and you believe you meet the above Essential Requirements then we would love to hear from you!
