We’re hiring! Two new positions in the Diocese of Parramatta

The Catholic Church in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, 20 April 2021.

 

The Diocese of Parramatta is looking for applicants to fill two new roles as a result of the creation of the Mission Enhancement Team, a new team developed with the aim of making the Church in Parramatta an oasis of mercy and outreach. The roles are:

  • Head: Mission Engagement, and,
  • Head: Formation for Mission.

To be successful in these roles you will have a demonstrated commitment to the ethos and values of the Catholic Church and awareness of current issues in the Church, along with the ability to enable and empower others.

Head: Mission Engagement

The Diocese is seeking a Head: Mission Engagement who will be responsible for the leadership and supervision of the Diocesan Youth Ministry (Catholic Youth Parramatta), Life Marriage Family and Peace, Justice and Ecology ministries and to work in collaboration with the Head: Formation for Mission to assist the Chancellor (Ministries) in the overall leadership of the Diocesan ministries.

Head: Formation for Mission

The Diocese is seeking a Head: Formation for Mission who will be responsible for the leadership and supervision of the Formation for Mission team and the Office for Worship to ensure all religious education and development programs are implemented and carried out in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church, as well as Diocesan policies. The Head: Formation for Mission will work in collaboration with the Head: Mission Engagement to assist the Chancellor (Ministries) in the overall leadership of the Diocesan ministries.
