Aid to the Church In need Australia invites all to make a conscience approach in joining and praying the Rosary, with family and friends or at your own place of worship. The event takes place every year on the 18th October 2020, at 9am.

“When a million children pray the Rosary, the world will change.”

St Padre Pio

Aid to the Church in Need has become involved in the prayer campaign as they not only see themselves as a pastoral charity, but also as a prayer community. Their founder, Father Werenfried van Straaten, deeply venerated Our Lady of Fatima. There, the Virgin Mary proclaimed to the visionary children, “Pray the Rosary every day, in order to obtain peace for the world.”

As Pope St John Paul II wrote in his Apostolic Exhortation on the Rosary, “The Rosary is by its nature a prayer for peace, since it consists in the contemplation of Christ, the Prince of Peace, the one who is “our peace”.
