Bishop Vincent Long OFM Conv together with priests of the Diocese of Parramatta will celebrate the 2016 CCD Mass at 11am at Padre Pio Parish, 34-38 William Howell Drive, Glenmore Park. The Way of Mercy in October & November 2016
Pope Francis has called for a more merciful and inclusive church in “which we are all called to give consolation to each man and each woman of our time”. In response, the relics of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and St Teresa of Kolkata accompanied by a Mercy Cross are on a pilgrimage through the Diocese of Parramatta.
22-23 October: hosted by The Good Shepherd Parish, 130-136 Hyatts Road, Plumpton, with St Aidan’s Parish, Rooty Hill; Holy Family Parish, Mt Druitt; and Sacred Heart Parish, Mt Druitt South.
30-31 October: hosted by St Nicholas of Myra Parish, 326 High Street, Penrith, with Corpus Christi Parish, Cranebrook; St Joseph’s Parish, Kingswood; Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, St Marys; and Holy Spirit Parish, St Clair.
4-5 November: Pilgrimage at Mt Schoenstatt. Friday: 6pm-10pm adoration and reflection in the Shrine.
