The 2023 Parramatta Diocesan Synod is about to kick off this afternoon, and you can be part of it, even from afar. Live updates will be available throughout the weekend on our Synod Live Update page and our social media.
The Synod’s theme, “Behold I am doing a new thing” (Isaiah 43:19) is an invitation to all to journey or walk together and to reflect the true nature of the Church as People of God. We have over 200 Members selected for our event, plus observers from outside the diocese as well as a several members who make up our periti (theological experts). Our live updates will ensure everyone can follow the event and the discussions and decisions that will shape the future of the Diocese of Parramatta.
