Ambrose recently participated in local festivals across Western Sydney to promote preschool enrolments, early childhood careers and answer community questions about its services, including its soon-to-open Good Shepherd Early Years Education service at Plumpton in 2025.
The Ambrose stall was a standout at the recent Bidwell and Willmot festivals, as the Ambrose team members handed out information flyers and giveaways, while chatting with plenty of local families about its early learning, school-aged care and vacation services, as well as promoting enrolments at the associated primary schools.
Good Shepherd Early Learning Plumpton’s director Mrs Jade Hunn was on site with team members, handing out promotional packs and talking with families about the early learning centre’s imminent opening.
“We had plenty of free craft activities for the children, and the stall was abuzz with activity and questions from prospective parents,” Jade said.
Ambrose is a social enterprise of Community Ventures. Community Ventures chief executive officer Anthony Goonan said Ambrose’s preschool and out-of-school hours care services are key to the Diocese of Parramatta’s work in expanding the pastoral outreach of our parish and school communities.
“We deliver Ambrose early years education, school-age care and vacation care services across more than 50 primary schools in Western Sydney,” Anthony said.
“We continue to grow with new services to expand the mission of the Church, and soon-to-open early learning centre in Plumpton is an exciting reflection of this mission.”
Anthony said Ambrose’s services are guided by the Catholic values of Respect, Encouragement, and Care.
“These values support students to flourish, while giving parents confidence and staff the opportunity to really showcase their passion for the work they do.”
