You’ve been waiting for this one! The Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF) is back, and this year we’re heading to Melbourne for an unforgettable pilgrimage.
From 30 November to 3 December 2025, young people from across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains will join thousands of others from around the country for three days that will inspire you, call you to mission, and deepen your connection with Jesus and our Church.
Expect live music, powerful prayer, inspiring speakers, creative workshops, and liturgies that move you.
ACYF is more than an event. It’s an opportunity to ask big questions, meet new friends and witness the Church in Australia come alive, full of joy.

Who’s invited?
- If you’re in Year 9 (in 2025) up to 25 years old, this is for you.
- If you’re 18–25, you can register with us. Please note: ACYF has capped the age of pilgrims at 25. If you are over 25, see below.
- If you’re under 18, you will need to contact your Religious Education Coordinator in your school.
Join us!
Catholic Youth Parramatta is organising a pilgrimage group to travel and experience ACYF together and we only have 100 spots. We’ll take care of the logistics and make sure you’re surrounded by community every step of the way.
If you’re between 18 and 25, we’re inviting you and your mates to register. Don’t miss this celebration with our young Church in Australia.

Small Group Leaders – we need you!
If you are over 25 and interested in attending, we encourage you to express your interest to be a small group leader. You will be allocated a small group of pilgrims to accompany and support. This is a great way to grow in leadership.

We’d love for you to join us on this special journey, and we look forward to sharing a meaningful pilgrimage of prayer, connection and community.
Grounded in the Diocesan Pastoral Plan, this pilgrimage supports the Diocese of Parramatta’s shared commitment to Formation and Community.
